Many people wrote about how great Madison was. Some say he was more great than Washington, and also said they should have called Washington D.C., Madison D.C. Others said that a pen was better than a sword for him. He always put more than enough effort in for everything. When he wrote the Constitution he had nobody to learn from to help along the way. On the left, Madison is being honored on the 1894 stamp. On the right, is Madison's portrait on the $5,000 bill.
